Who is responsible

Privacy
The site doesn’t ask anyone to sign up and doesn’t store data on its own server. The inquiry form builds a message with what is filled in (date, number of people, name, an email or phone number and, if added, accommodation and dietary, mobility or language needs) and opens it in WhatsApp or in the device’s email app: the person making the inquiry is the one who sends it. The needs are optional and are only used to adapt the experience.
The data is used to answer the inquiry and, if a booking is made, to organize the experience. The legal basis is the person’s own request before booking (EU General Data Protection Regulation, Art. 6(1)(b)) and their consent when sending the message (Argentine Law 25,326).
They are received by the Asado Patagonia booking team. To organize the experience, only the necessary data is shared with Medio Perro and Estancia Rio Mitre. Messages travel through WhatsApp or the chosen email service, which process them under their own terms. The data is never sold or used for advertising.
The data is kept in Argentina. The European Commission recognizes that Argentina provides an adequate level of personal data protection (Decision 2003/490/EC), so it can be sent from the European Union without additional steps. It is kept for as long as needed to answer the inquiry and, if there is a booking, to meet the applicable legal and accounting obligations.
Like any web server, the one hosting this site logs technical data for each visit (IP address, date and page requested) for security and to detect errors. These logs are deleted automatically after a limited time.
Access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction or portability of the data can be requested through the same contacts. Anyone in the European Union can also file a complaint with the data protection authority of their country.
Under Argentine Law 25,326 (Art. 14(3)), data subjects may exercise their right of access free of charge at intervals of no less than six months, unless a legitimate interest is shown. The Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública, the supervisory authority under Law 25,326, handles complaints from anyone whose data protection rights have been affected.
Cookies
This site doesn’t use cookies or analytics, advertising or social media tools, and doesn’t load resources from other sites: fonts, libraries and the map are served from the same server. It only stores the chosen language in the browser, to show the same version on the next visit. It is a preference that doesn’t require consent and can be deleted in the browser settings.
Accessibility
The site is designed with the WCAG 2.2 guidelines in mind: keyboard navigation, text alternatives, contrast and screen readers. Animations stop when the device has reduced motion turned on. If anything can’t be used, please let us know on WhatsApp or by email.
